I ended up getting *everything* I wanted from Uwajiamaya with money to spare. :) I feel so lucky!
Nodame Cantabile volumes 1-22 [Japanese] 2-12 of Sailor Moon manga [Japanese] a total score, volume 5 of Bakuman....o__o; and last minute I found volume 8 of Kuroshitsuji~ So that and Prince of Tennis volume 34 and a bunch of like drinks and stuff, I'd say the whole Uwajimaya thing went exceptionally well. <3
Gah so happy~ I have so much to read and get inspired from. Also, because of the whole Japan trip [hopefully in June] it'll give me time to practice my Japanese. :) Awesome. I needed some new reading material~
Ugh. Speaking of that though!
I am having some issues with figuring out what to do about money and stuff. According to the internet, Japan does not want you to take in more than $1000 into the country. And if you *DO* you need to fill out some government issued paperwork and then hand it in when you go through customs. X_X;
Which is fine I guess, and while I have nothing to hide from the Japanese government but the LAST thing I want is to get into trouble in a foreign country, you know?
I know a lot of people don't deal with the government problem and just exchange money when getting there, some at the airport and then some in other places like CitiBank(??) but that sounds like it could be problematic also.
I was thinking about exchanging my money in the U.S.A before I leave, but I hear the exchange fee is really high and unreasonable. I hear it can be anywhere from $5-10 [which is fine with me] but can also end up being close to $100+. X_X!! Anyway, I hear the rates are terrible here and you're smarter to exchange them in Japan using travelers checks. [which is what I plan on doing I think]
Anyway, I have been getting So frustrated with all that, that I finally cracked and called up my mom to ask for advice but since she knows like, nothing about that kind of thing, my stepdad, Peter, will be calling me sometime tomorrow and talking with me about it. I kinda wanted to be able to do ALL the research myself and be able to come to my parents with it and be like: "TA-DA" but....eh, it's okay, right?
Either way I expect Peter to call anywhere from early in the morning to mid-late afternoon tomorrow. err...today. Which is okay. I'll just be kinda dead if he calls too early....^^;;

I tried to fill out this other character meme for my characters for Citrus Orange, but my relationships with them are So different from Lemon Martini it's hard to give them real answers. Their "developed" characters, but they're not extremely deep because they don't need to be. While characters in Lemon Martini [at least for me] are like real people....x_x;
I think I've been letting Kai take over my mind a little Too much, I keep having this really strange dreams about me and Kai as an "item". XD; EWW. WTF IS WRONG WITH ME!?!?!!???
I need to stop doodling that bastard so much before I go to sleep....XD; BLEH.
I have been KINDA fitting together a new story. ^^ I'm trying to do something a little different than usual, so....be waiting for it~ I'm trying to finish working on Citrus Orange first though. :D
I feel like my stories Citrus Orange and LimeBox [as well as a few smaller stories] are great practice for smaller stories and learning how to panel and everything but I hope this new one will be able to be a bit longer. o_o; I like having long projects as well. I should start making a story or something where my main character isn't a boy for once..... >>;
Anyway yeah, I am excited to have a longer story to work on, on the side, while I finish up CO and LM. <3
